Bradford continues to capture impressive endorsements and is the only NC House District 98 candidate recognized as an advocate for the 2nd Amendment and gun rights.
Cornelius, NC: NC State House District 98 candidate John R. Bradford, III, today announced the endorsement of his campaign by Grass Roots North Carolina (GRNC) and the National Rifle Association (NRA). The NRA issued Bradford an ‘AQ’ rating as a new candidate that has yet to establish a voting record. This is the NRA’s highest rating for a new candidate.
“The 2nd Amendment is a precious right guaranteed by our Constitution,” said Bradford. “I am honored that GRNC and the NRA have chosen to support me in my race for the NC House. I will continue to work as I always have to safeguard the rights of the people in our District to protect their homes and property as well as bear arms.”
As North Carolina’s most effective gun rights organization, Grass Roots North Carolina (GRNC) was created in 1994 as an independent, all-volunteer 501(c)(4) not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving constitutional freedoms. Most, but not all, of the organization’s projects are devoted to defending the individual right to keep and bear arms. More information including their candidate recommendations are available on their website at www.grnc.org.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) is an American nonprofit organization founded in 1871 that promotes firearm competency, safety, and ownership, as well as police training, marksmanship, hunting and self-defense training in the United States. The NRA-Political Victory Fund regularly rates candidates support for gun rights. More information on their survey and grades can be found on their website at https://www.nrapvf.org/grades/North-Carolina.
