Commissioner John R. Bradford, III, Officially Files for NC House of Representatives – District 98

February 14, 2014 — Charlotte, NC: Cornelius Commissioner John R. Bradford, III, officially filed today for the North Carolina House of Representatives District 98 seat at the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections in Charlotte, NC. Joining Bradford were his wife Shea, four children, friends, and members of his campaign team.

“While the snow and ice covered roads prevented many of our friends from joining us, I was honored to still have so many people brave the road conditions to join me at my official filing,” said Bradford. “It is evident from the support I have been given thus far in the campaign that we have a strong and committed group to help me take my common sense, pro-business approach to Raleigh. I am excited about our campaign leadership team and my extensive list of public endorsements speak for itself. We have much to do for the Primary election on May 6th and we have a solid foundation to build upon. We plan to have fun and enjoy the ride along the way.”

John Bradford’s campaign has been endorsed by 17 elected officials and community leaders including: NC Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest, NC Senator Jeff Tarte, Mecklenburg County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors Chairman Dempsey Miller, Cornelius Mayor Pro-Tem Woody Washam, Cornelius Commissioner Dave Gilroy, Cornelius Commissioner Jim Duke, Former Cornelius Commissioner Jeff Hare, Former Cornelius Commissioner Bruce Trimbur, Former Cornelius Commissioner Jim Bensman, Former Cornelius Mayor Gary Knox, Huntersville Commissioner Danny Phillips, Huntersville Commissioner Rob Kidwell, Former Huntersville Commissioner Brian Sisson, Former Lake Norman Chamber Chairman Wendy Moran, Former Lake Norman Chamber Chairman Robert Reed, Former Lake Norman Chamber Chairman John Hettwer and Former Mecklenburg County Republican Party Chair Lee Teague.
